Mark Peterson is a significant new voice in British crime writing. He was born in London and studied Literature at the University of Essex. He then worked in PR before returning to university to begin an MA in Creative Writing. Published in 2012, the highly-acclaimed Flesh And Blood was the first novel in the Minter series. The second novel, A Place of Blood and Bone was also published by Orion in the UK. As well as working on the third novel in the Minter series, Mark is currently writing his first non-series novel. In addition to writing, Mark is a qualified teacher and an Associate of the Arvon Foundation, where he teaches Creative Writing to adults. His home is in West Sussex.
